Poloz Speech: Bank of Canada Governor Stephen Poloz is giving a speech in Alberta on Tuesday widely regarded as the “art and science of making monetary policy”. He will also be taking questions at a news conference.
Statistics Canada: Stats Can will release it’s economic report card for November of 2016. Gross domestic Product by industry contracted by 0.3% in October, the first contraction since May of 2016. Economists are hopeful that November will show a break even or advancing GDP.
