Start now. It’s an easy thing to say, start now. Sometimes, it’s not always as easy to implement. We always think that we’ll start “after the new year” or “when the kids are done school” or “when I’m in a better financial situation”. There are many excuses to not start a small business, and they are valid, but they are excuses nonetheless.
The reality however is that for the mos
t part, starting a small business is terrifying, and most of us hold off getting a business started because we don’t have the belief in ourselves that we can do it. Failure isn’t the end, in fact, sometimes failing is the best point to get started.
So, start now. Start writing that business plan, start planning a start to the company, start planning work that you can do on weekends while you are still working! But no matter what, if you want to be a small business owner, start now.
