As small business owners, or sole proprietors, especially in sales, we are always looking for that next win. A win can be getting through to that decision maker you’ve been trying to reach for months, or finally getting that P.O. for your next big sale.
I find the chase of the sale to be a thrill, and when I do get those victories, it can be distracting to continue (for that day) on my mission to continue calling, or reaching out to new prospects.
However, it’s vitally important to continue staying on track. If you normally make 50-60 calls in a day, with the hope of reaching 5-6 people, then keep on it.
Celebrating your sales victory is great, but getting another victory is even better.
